My grandmother was an excellent biscuit maker. Her legacy for crafting the fluffiest, buttermilk biscuits outlived her and I’ve worked to recreate them. She wrote a recipe down for me that, while I cherish it deeply, is not very helpful. First, the measurements are wrong and it has vague instructions such as “bake until done.” See, she didn’t use a recipe when she baked biscuits, she estimated on paper the best she could but that’s not where her expertise showed. Through the thousands of biscuits she baked she developed a priceless knowledge of how biscuit dough should look and feel. If it wasn’t right she could adapt and adjust until it was. 

Having a strong predetermined marketing strategy is important. Being able to evaluate if your home needs a something outside the box requires expertise. When we market your home we have a “recipe” or marketing plan that starts with professional photography. However, my favorite thing about listing homes is that each one is unique. Sometimes we have to deviate to accomplish your specific goals.
